I really don't know but it's annoying.
I find it hard to believe some people can't even spell everyday words or words with only 4 letters?

Aside from laziness, it's probably because most believe their spelling to be the right one. Some simply don't care while others have no clue.

I suspect most are like me--I don't because tis s "informal" and it's not worth the trouble most of the time. Besides, spell check doesn't like some of the shorthand people use.

most likely because internet slang is different to our normal language. i think its because we r lazy.
