This is the problem, when you live on the backside of the law, it doesn't work for you so well.

While I'd agree that the assaulter should be prosecuted, the escort should think about the level of risk inherent in her position. How will the law help her if she is dead?

yes, of course, the fact that the client paid for the companionship does not mean he is entitled to assault the escort.

Of course. Assault is assault. Just because he has paid for sex doesn't mean he can hit her.

probably but the 'john' might tell the nature of your 'relationship' and agree to testify against you for being a hooker
