Before you invest in a business or even decide what type of business you want to get into. I suggest you visit your local junior college and talk to the "small business association" they have all kinds of information for your area. For example they can tell you if there are 50 nail salons, 40 pet groomers, 2 wig shops.....they can also tell you what is NEEDED in your city. I don't know if they charge a fee or not. But it would be a good beginning. If not there try your local library and do the research. If you want to make money you need customers....so go into a field that you know there will be people waiting at your door. It takes money to make money so the first steps are the most important before you actually decide what career you will select.

First, you have to evaluate yourself...what are the things that makes you click? In other words, the very things that you want to do and so interested in that makes it all worthwhile spending your precious time without ever getting tired of? If you know the answer, then the next step would just breeze by. You know, in business you got to have full dedication to your trade because if you engage in it and it triggers you to do more and to do better, you're on your way to become a successful business owner. Goodluck !

It seems like consignment shops are on the rise lately. Alot of the kids are really into retro. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you do alot of research and determine your target client. I really like ebay too. I do alot of shopping on there. Maybe you could do both with a consignment shop. Good Luck. I hope you are happy and prosper.
