Remover #2 - Remove Nail Polish Stains From:
Carpet/Synthetic, Carpet/Wool:

Scrape as much of the excess as you can without forcing it into the pile. Apply amyl acetate to the stain and cover with an absorbent pad dampened with amyl acetate. Keep moist and let stand for about 15 minutes, blotting occasionally. Scrape to help loosen the stain. Flush carefully with a dry-cleaning solvent or AFTA Cleaning Fluid. Allow to thoroughly dry.

TIPS:
*Dry cleaning fluid can be purchased at a home supply store or a dry cleaners.
*Always test the cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous area of the carpet before applying them to a large area.
*Use a white cloth rather than a colored one to prevent any dye transfers.
*As you blot, keep turning the cloth so that you are using a clean, dry section to pick up the stain & the cleaning fluids from the carpet. Don't rub.
*If using a brush to help clean the stain, always brush from the outer edges of the spill inward to prevent the stain from spreading.
**Do not use Regular Nail-Polish Remover as it may bleach the carpet.

What color is the carpet? When we moved into our apartment there used to be an excessively darkish brown stain within the core of the crimson carpet. We'd had the carpets wiped clean but it surely remained. I acquired a few bleach and a crimson Chux (I have no idea whether or not you could have this product in which you're however this can be a believe cleansing material). The bleach eliminated the stain out of the carpet and the crimson from the Chux used to be transferred to the carpet. You can not inform in any respect in which the stain used to be.

first use nail polish remover. pour a little only on the stain. do not scrub!! grab a cotton ball and absorb the liquid. do this 3 times

then use oxiclean http://www.shoplet.com/oxiclean/usrch pour it on the stain let it sit for 15 minutes then scrub

last step. repeat the same process that you did with the oxiclena but this time with baking soda

good luck!

Try softening it with nail polish remover, then using Simple Solution (a pet stain remover) or you can use the stuff they use to remove candle wax (it smells like gasoline but it works)
