What kind of tough questions do you think they might ask? What can I do to prepare myself? The job is a government job.

Why should we pick you for the job
What kind of an education do you have
Do you have good people skills
Who can give you references for this type of work
Do you have good transporation
How many days of school or work did you miss last year
(I used to work for the government, if that helps)
Also, I didn't use question marks, because you're not supposed to answer a question with a question, in the Yahoo answers rules.

My son went for an interview for a similar type position and he was beat out by someone who was less educated and the same age because the person took in a full presentation and plan. Try to show them what you can bring to the table. What you will do to make you successful. Good Luck.

They may ask you a question like: Describe a time in your life that you had to deal with an addict who was extremely difficult and how did you handle it and what were the results?
Stuff like that... usually I have found that the toughest questions are the ones where they ask you to describe conflicting situations you have been in.

Hmm questions.. what about these ..

Have you ever taken drugs?

Do you know what it is like to be addicted?

Have you ever tried to give up something your addicted too?
If so how did you cope with your behaviour etc.
