Go to your local arts and crafts store (Michael's, Garden Ridge, etc.) They carry frames made especially for those albums (assuming of course they still have the original covers), so you can hang them on the wall as art. This way they won't get damaged when you decide to sell them again. Like other people said, hang on to them. They are worth alot to collectors.

They sell a USB turntable now for approx. $150 that plugs into your computer. With the included software, you can record your old LP's into MP3's (MP3 format). It would be something to look into if it would work for 45's also, I haven't checked. I have wanted to look further into this product to convert all of my LP's that I have, so I could them burn them to CD's. I also have quite a large number of 45's that would be great to convert also.

Have you looked into places like Half Price Books, or other places that sell these items ? Short of selling them at a garage sell or converting them, don't expect to get a large amount of $ for these outdated media formats.... except for collector type buyers.

Wow.., those are precious gems to me, cause I grew up in the 80's (kinda an old new wave guy y'see)..I don't know what it's worth in money, i'm saying it's a gem for the sake of my romantic melancholiness ego heheh...if you're gonna sell it..how much may that be?..and if your donating it..well..I'm game..(oh, such a cheapskate, me..) Cheers..Anthony
