how high is it flying? what type of plane is it, how many passengers on board, was it over the weight limit, are the wheels at the proper inflation, was the pilot drunk or on drugs or sober, what was on the menu, what was the in-flight movie. These are all things to consider and after considering all that, the airplane would only be affected if the earthquake caused a huge magnetic or electrical surge. We still don't know the Bermuda Trainlge answers, but I for one have never heard of an airplane ever affected by and earthquake.

No a plane will not be affected by an earth quake. A plane can only be affected if the airport it wants to land at has been affected by the earth quake.

no, it won't affect the plane. see, the earth quakes are caused by the movement and collision of techtonic plates under the earth. this movements of plates under the earth causes the seismic waves to tensfer to the surface of the earth. thus the buildings built on the surface will only be affected. there is no effect to the plane because the seismic waves will not travel through air.

As an earth quake comes the climate in that particular place changes. There would be a lot of disturbance to the plane and it would be difficult for the pilot to control the plane and automatically the plane crashes to the ground.

Absolutely Not
The effects within an earthquake are localized and might in extremely rare circumstances have very slight effects on air currents ---but even in the most severe of cases this would be
SO slight as to have no effect whatsoever on a plane in flight !!

Earthquake is caused due to the trembling of the plates inside the ground. If it comes it will only shake the ground not the sky.
it may cause problem for landing but it wont disturb aeroplane in the sky while flying

Any earthquake, no matter how large or small, will cause absolutely everything to fall out of the sky...Planes, birds, clouds, blimps, helicopters, etc. Conversely, all things on the surface of the earth will instantly become airborne. The earth's shape also changes, but I can't remember if it changes to a hexagon or a isosceles triangle.

No, a strong earthquake will not affect a plane in flight. However, it might affect its ability to land if it destroys runways.
