I am on the pill for about 1,5 year now. This month something strange is happening. I have been taking the pills as usual, but yesterday evening (the 10th day from the first day of my last menstruation) I got small bleeding. Pregnancyis excluded completely.
I do not know what to do. Should I go to docotr? Should I continue taking my pills as normal? Is this maybe connected to ovulation? Have you had a simmilar experience?
Please help me as I do not know what to do. I especially want to know if I need to interupt taking the pills this month.

I wouldnt worry to much, they call it break thru bleeding. I had that problem too, and also if I didnt take the pill on time everyday then I would start to bleed and that was because my body was used to that dosage and needed to be on a higher one. Let it go it will be ok, but if u are really concerned by all means go visit ur doc, better to be safe than sorry I say!

First of all I would definately call your OB/GYN and ask about possible pregnancy unless you haven't had sexual relations. It could very well be bleeding/spotting due to ovulation. I have had this many times in the past either on or off any sort of birth control.

If you want to know more about your body and how you cycles work, what is and is not possible I read a great book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Welcher. This book explains the different changes your female anatomy goes through in every stage of a woman's monthly cycle.

This has happened to me b4, i was half way thru taking my pill & i started bleeding, unfortuly i was in gran canaria so when i came bk i went the docs & they said it could me your pill or you cud have a infection/std (I didnt think it was that coz my bf had been checked & my ex had never slept with anyone b4) so i went & they done test & everything was fine, I didnt end up changing my pill but it hasnt happened since & that was a year ago!

I wouldnt worry to much, but if it keeps happening then go see the nurse at the docs!
