I currently have CNN on in the other room. I don't care for the narrated shows like most of their political commentaries which are directed in a predetermined direction. I wish they would use more facts and less rhetoric. I like most of Lou Dobbs segments but he also is guilty of directing traffic, but at least he uses statistics and facts to back up his claims. I don't care for the same information being repeated over and over again or the reporters that are always in a bummer of a mood. I do like some of the morning shows because most of the time they realize that the people watching their shows don't want to be suicidal for the rest of the day after watching their show. They smile. I know it isn't possible to smile when you are reporting a story which has graphic or horrific content. On the same token we need to create news based on facts and not government propaganda [FOX News], most of us want to hear the truth whether it is positive or not. I used to watch ABC news because they are well balanced, but since Peter Jennings death and me personally working nights, it isn't possible. If you want perspective you have to zoom in on all of them from time to time, as I still do. I think CNN needs to get more reporters out there where ever the news is, less studio charming and more direct input.

Because they put a negative spin on the War in Iraq just to sell news!
