1. If you have CDs rip it by WMP 10 or 11 to 128-256 bit rate of MP3
2. If ya have other formats encode them to .mp3 by using any converter like CD-DA Extractor or there are really some good numbers of converters available on the net just search and choose carefully.

download a converter... go to www.download.com there are tons of converters the one that I use that works the best for me is wavepad or totalaudio. Just try some out!
