Nothing is for sure yet, but it looks like Triple H has torn his right quadriceps (the one he tore in 2001 was his left quadriceps I think). This is a sad and ironic story because today marks the fifth anniversary of his return to wrestling after he tore his quadriceps the last time. If he did indeed tear his quadriceps he should be out for about 6 to 8 months (I say 6 to 8 because last time he was out 8 months but this time when he left the ring he didn't need as much help to leave the ring so it might only be about 6 months). Triple H is being flown to Birmingham, Alabama to see Dr. Jame Andrews (who was the same person who did surgery on him last time) to be evaluated, and when the WWE knows something they will post it on wwe.com today by sometime in the afternoon. I hope that answers your question.

Triple H suffered an injury during his match against Rated-RKO at New Year's Revolution. The preliminary diagnosis is a possible quadriceps tear. Triple H will be flown to Birmingham, Ala. in the morning to be evaluated by Dr. James Andrews.

everyone is saying tear. im thinking that maybe all he did was pull it. im not saying that its not torn, but from looking at the pictures from the trainer's room, its more than likely a pull. remember, they cant tell for sure until after the swelling subsides. im just trying to lighten everything up because initial reports about injuries could be wrong. besides, im hoping triple h is there tonight because i have tickets and last time i went was before DX reunited.

There's no way to know for sure until he has more tests today (likely an MRI) but since he's torn a quad before and knows what it feels like, it's probably a safe bet that he's done it again. WWE isn't irresponsible and they wouldn't say this on their website if there weren't very valid reasons to believe it's happened again.
If that turns out to be true -- it's bad, very bad.

WWE.com is reporting a possible quad tear like the one he had a few years ago. More will be known after he meets with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham on Monday morning.

They don't know for sure yet. They suspect he might have torn his quadriceps. he is being flown to Alabama tomorrow to see a specialist. WWE.com is providing updates as well as www.pwtorch.com, and www.rajah.com.
