Texas country, It's so much better then that crap they pump out of Nashville.
check out Charlie Robison, Stoney Larue, Or Jason Boland and you'll see why. I took this stuff to Daytona beach for a month and had everyone there lovin this music.

I like a little bit of every thing but three types more than others: R&B, Rock, and Jazz.

Me too - all kinds are the best. Not too much of a country girl though - but some I like.

the first band i remember liking was 'cheap trick'. i only really liked them because i got a poster of theirs in a 'teen-ish' magazine. i didn't know they were really a band. i thought it was a 'cheap trick', but they were cool. 5th - 6th grade
that evolved into metal, cooper, maiden, priest, etc. 6th - 8th grade
that brought me to punk. freshman - present
with all different stuff mixed in. more metal, rap, weird, obscure stuff, 60's hippy stuff, 70's smack rock, avant garde, etc., and on and on.
i explored, and still do, as much different stuff as i can. i usually wind up siding with those on the lunatic fringe.
not a fan of the mainstream, whatever that may be......................

I like metal because its pure. the artists do whatever they want and whatever musically satisfies them. they don't answer to labels and producers and they don't put out music and albums just to be popular and make lots of money. they won't compromise their work to make it more popular. they do what feels right. if people buy their albums thats just a bonus for them. the modern rock scene doesn't have any talent and i think thats stupid. metal shows their talents and is pure. its all about the music and the fans. its not about money. and thats what kicks *** about it.

my fave is punk but i settle for just about any rock
