I can do it if I go into one of my photo programs and save it as a jpeg, but I wonder if there is a simpler way, do it?

u have to use ur photo programs, and photoshop has a batch processing where u can change all ur photos into jpeg while u take a cup of coffee
just go to the actions pallette, create a new action, and then go ot file, automate, batch
this way u can turn all ur photos into jpeg at once
and there isnt a quicker way

I use Microsoft Windows "Paint" program to change bmp into jpg and to make a tif to a jpg I just name a file what I want with the extension I want to for example:

57chevy.tif.jpg or girlfriend.tif.jpg, etc.

opener the pic with "paint" accessory. Then click file, save as, change to jpeg there.good luck

You can try renaming the file, changing the extension from .bmp to .jpg

maybe a dedicated photo file converter, like the Advanced Batch Converter or other similar programs could be easier

MS Paint is good. Open it, then open that file. save as jpeg, gif etc.

Go to the Image Right click and click '' Open With ''
Select '' Paint '' Open it in paint, then go to ''Save as'', Then save as whatever format!
