newton was a guy. he died. the end.

just kidding.

Sir Isaac Newton is considered the father of modern physics and calculus. His famous "apple incident" caused him to draft his three laws of motion and explore gravitation. in the course of his studies, he developed the mathematical processes of the calculus.

short and general.

In 1643, Issac Newton was born prematurely, was subsequently sent to Grantham, where he lived with an apothecary. While having passions about Anne Storey, his stepdaughter, Newton was schooled at the King's College. He later entered Trinity College to study Aristole, only to have the college shut down because of the Great Plague of London in 1666. It is not reported if the plague affected his mental powers, but immediately afterwards he developed calculus, optics, and law of gravitation. Shortly afterwards he became the Lucasian professor of mathematics at Cambridge, while demanding his right to be active in church. He was a prolific writer of religious tracts and engaged in alchemy, and fought bitterly with Leibniz over who invented calculus. Under pressure, he published Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica in 1687, thus ensuring his place in physics classrooms for more than three centuries. In his later years, he was made warden of the Royal Mint and fought counterfeiters, which were punishable by drawing and quartering. Records show that he was successful in prosecution and conviction of such felons. He died in 1727, most likely from mecury poisoning.

Isacc Newton:
he lived a long time ago
is known for the apple incident
developed 3 laws of motion
developed the law of universal gravitation
was subsequently knited
was not an engineer
and eventually died

Now to the famous apple incident: had he been an engineer he would have developed a "hard hat". But NO he had to develop the 3 laws of motion and now all high school kids suffer.

Short enough?

Everyone always associates Isaac Newton with apples or gravity or mechanics of motion but he is most famous in the physics world for his work in optics.

He was a physicist and mathematician who suffered a mental breakdown. His father died when he was still a baby. He went to Cambridge University. He was the one that invented the reflecting telescope. He made math formulas and used them to explain his theories on motion and gravitation. He made laws called Newtons Laws. (1642-1727). Hope that helps a little bit,
