What are your favortie songs by him? Do you like his early stuff or the later stuff and why?

I like music from all walks of Elvis's career as his style changed so much over the years that he offered us a great selection of great songs.
My top three Elvis songs would probably be hard to choose as Elvis released so many good albums (I have the entire Elvis catalogue, and scanning it now it makes my choice even harder!!!)
My all time favourite Elvis song though is "Fool", which is a heart-warming ballard that is so powerful it still brings tears to me now!

My ultimate favorite Elvis song is "If I Can Dream". It's so beautiful to watch him sing it because he puts so much heart into the music as well as with everything else he sang. Elvis' early stuff was more upbeat and his later stuff was more passionate and you could really see the differences in his performances. But, I LOVE HIM SOO MUCH no matter what he sings. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELVIS!

I like alot of his gospel music too.
His early stuff was really great and I like it the best.
His movies were really good even though the critics didnt.
I have several on dvd and I have a 5 disc of elvis greatest hits

I really love "Burning Love" and "American Trilodgy". There are too many great songs to list, I like them all.I prefer Elvis in the later years like from 68 onwards. 1973/4 he was his ulitimate best.

Jailhouse Rock, that off-beat intro is still amazing. His later stuff is horrible, he should have died earlier & stayed remembered as THE man.
