some beauty products such as eyeliner and foundation may contain iron oxide, will this harm your skin badly?

no..its only rust.. its been used by countless generations for all purposes of coloring items and skin of animals and humans ..really don't worry about it..

Iron oxide is insoluble in water. I don't think it can get absorbed through skin. And I'm sure your cosmetic product is not an allergen, so I shouldn't worry too much...

its rust, like the rust on the steel things you leave outside. Should be good source of iron!
