they can't make you get a social security number for your child, they basically make it eem that way, but they can't. just the same as in the government cant make you go to war if there's a draft, they can coerce you and pretend like they can make you. but they can't. you cannot be forced into involuntary servitude. you have constitutional rights.

the doctors say you cant leave basically with your baby if you dont give them a SS#. isn't there like a box on the birth cirtificate where you as the parent check to give them a SS#, why do they make it that easy

I'm not sure about that. I know that everyone basically needs a social security number to do nearly ANYTHING in the US and I know that's not the Dr's orders..that's the government. I didn't have to have one until I applied for a job, but my kids were supposed to have one by the time they were five years old. And I know rules have changed since I had my youngest 22 yrs. ago.

With the new laws, you cannot claim any child on your taxes without a ss number. It's not the doctors law but the government. The hospitals are just trying to make it easier for you to get it done right away.

well actually you didnt use to have too till you got your first job
but it may have changed, second reason is you need one now
to do most things in the USA unless you plan to live at bare bones
standard of living with few if any modern convienences. do you really
want that for your child? and also if you dont have an SS# with
the influx of ILLEGALS in the USA you could get your kid deported
do you want that to happen?

when a child is born you are supposed to get a ssn for them just in case there is any money left to them if you want to take them off your taxes you have to have an ssn for them its not servitude at all, there is no draft but they have to sign up at 18
you are just being difficult.

what is the big deal? just get the baby a ssn #! it's not like the baby has joined a f*ckin cult. it's a number for the rest of their life, and sooner or later, they will get one anyway.
