Only in a cage and mantain proper room temp. I don't kow how big yours is but I had a 21ft burmese and would feed it chickens and rabbits once a week. It got kind of costly over the years and I finally donated him to reptile world in kissimmee, fla. Make sure your cage is damn strong.
I suggest getting a dog or a girlfriend.

If your landlord will let you or if you own your home, you can.
You will have to buy or catch rats to feed it. Some people will be scared of it and won't come in your house unless it is in a cage.
It doesn't sound like much fun to me.
