The correct spelling would be *douche* bag. A douche is a method of cleaning the vagina, by squirting water inside.

The term "douche bag" is just an insult.

Douch = vainal hygiene rinse
Douch Bag = Bag often filled with vinigar and water that women use to hang high up to use gravity to let the douching solution flow down a long tube for irrigation of the vaginal area. In the nighties most GYNs started informing women that regular douching was bad for their health (unless prescribed for an infection/disease) so you seldom see a douch bag around anymore.

However

Some lame-a**-brainless-posers still use the term douch bag to attempt to insult other people. Sinse it has been out of fashion from about 1985 on, it shows just how far behind everyone else they are.
