I don't follow celebrity culture that much so I didn't know about Ava, Emma, Kayla, or Bailey. I do know that my name (Madison) wasn't very common (I only knew one other girl, a year younger then me with that name all through school), then it appeared in the move Splash in 1984, it slowly grew and now almost every girl under 13 has that name, I guess their parents saw the movie as teenagers, but it is SO annoying now because everytime I'm somewhere like the pool or the grocery store, I think people are talking to me.

How about the neon-colored banana clips and earrings? The bousteah(boost ee ay) [don't know how to spell that - lol], the parachute pants and new wave bands and the ladies wearing wide belts around their waists? That was also the era where the hair crimper was introduced, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong on that - :) and the moonwalk.
