Pheonix, duh.
Wolverine is overrated. He's not even original X-men (Gene Gray was) and before he was always owned by Magneto for obvious reasons.
Pheonix, especially in the old animated show, was like a goddess. Wolverine is a pawn!

Obviously Phoenix. She's in a much higher level than Wolverine. Could even take out the entire X-men by herself.

In the movie wolverines healing factor prevents his death and he kills phoenix but in reality i'm pretty sure he would hesitate more and try other methods of subdueing the phoenix
try reading days of future past (masrvel comics)

Phoenix; she'll keep coming back to life. Wolverine's healing factor is a good ability, but he can only heal so much.
