He should let her wait. She is only 22, That is young, let her finish her schooling & get started with a career. There is plenty of time for marriage. If he loves her, he should respect that she wants to wait & that she's not ready. If they were to marry & she is not ready, they could be led to divorce.
Its best to wait. Take some time, no need for rushing it.

My fiance and I had this issue. He wants to marry now, and I want to wait until after graduation. This is partly because we are in a distance relationship and that most likely cannot change until after graduation, and partly because I need time to mentally and emotionally prepare (and I think he does too). However, there shouldn't be anything stopping them from getting engaged now! That way, the commitment is there and they will have plenty of time to plan!

If this woman is the love of his life, he will wait for her. Her plan of finishing college before getting married is a sensible one. He should respect her wishes and support her in her goals.

If she feels that she needs to finish college first, best to give her the time. May be she is not even sure if this is the relationship that she really wants.
He may really want her and desire to hold her but it is best to see if she really wants him too or Else's, his heart will be broken later on. He can wait and then see what happens.

wait. if she gets dragged out of college that is a big change in her life and if they get married and it doesn't work out she may be down financially anyway. she would need something to fall back on.
