ELEVENTH-CENTURY MAGICIAN (GEOFFREY &CROWMAN" BAYLDON) is escaping some angry Norman soliders, jumps in a pond to hide and finds himself transported to Children's Film Foundation-era Britain. Had small boy to explain all the stuff to him/utilise those magical powers etc.
..THE USUAL AMAZEMENT AT MODERN INVENTIONS - LIGHT BULB WAS "THE SUN IN A BOTTLE", ELECTRICITY "ELASTIC TRICKERY" ETC.

Especially when he jumped off the castle wall into the moat and came out in the 20th century that was brilliant and i can still remember some of the episodes

yes,just bought the dvds of both series.geoffrey bayldon also played the crow man in worzel gummage,and was the prisoner in the tower on first series of fort boyard,before tom baker took over.the dvds are excellent,go buy them now!!

Yeah, I do. Wasn't he an eccentric guy that collected lots of other people's junk and hoard it and make stuff from it? Some young kid always hung out with him too. Cool show.

Sunday teatime.A wonderful scruffy wizard.(Geoffrey Bayldon) He was in Worzel Gummidge latter.I liked that as well.
