A "global citizen" understands that our own survival depends on everyone around us. They grasp that every life is worth saving. Diversity is our strength of survival. There is always somebody that can carry the weight.. get the job done. These people are often from every culture and every ethnicity. Success does not discriminate globally; only with prejudice does this apply.
A global citizen is humanitarian, helpful, peaceful, will do what is necessary for the good of all man, respects the environment and finds ways to stop pollution, etc.
Just be a good person and without prejudice. Understand that mankind's existence could be finite; unless we work together to overcome.

Inspite of everything you can do to become a global citizen, its impossible intention. Hypothetically you are right as all humankind is a global citizen if this world.
