Go to Mangalore. From there Hire a taxi and go to Goa via mumbai highways. There are so many places to see on the way. if u have time spend some time to see them. u can also mail me for help. moreover this highway is wonderful place for sight seeing. u'll travel near to see the sea shore. :)

Trains are good.
Especially because the timings are perfect.
Train leaves Bangalore at about 9pm & reaches goa next morning at about 11am
Given that most planes fly during the day & the afternoon, I think train makes more sense than flying.

the best way is by road in a car wit friends gettin high on the back seat.. truly amazing..!!cheers..

i think railway is best apart from airlines...u can find railway timetables from indian railways site.
