I don't see it if it's here. Walking through supermarkets and shopping malls, blindly staring, pretending everything is just fine, afriad to show feeling. The music is dead, without any real emotion. The movies are all escapist crap. Money and luxury, big screen TVs, SUVs, and jewelry rule the world. Why? No passion. No passion for the things that matter, for what's in the heart, for love and art and music. I speak of music not created on a computer, but on an instrument. Where is the passion? Oh, yes, we see people with a passion for violence and death, but is there any passion for life, for adventure, for what is real and true? Or are we doomed to live and die as robots, doing what is expected of us, living by the rules, afraid to speak out of turn, of being politically incorrect, of what other people might think. We don't have to be out of control to stop being controlled, do we? Tell me what you think, and I mean say it out right, like you've got a pair!

YES!!! I know, the world is infested with careless, self-centered, gold digging people, BUT, there are other people here too! You just have to know where, and how to look for it! There is lots out there, but not so much in the Western World! I find it easier done then said! You appear to have a grudge against these people...let it go! There is no point in being disappointed in the lack of caring, it does nothing be make people mad, upset, unhealthy! A good recommendation for you, IF you are interested, is do some research on Buddhism (not to convert, but to see the lifestyle). Use this as a guide line to find the happiness around you, share the happiness, if you make one person smile, it can have a chain reaction. Same with helping someone out, even if you don't know them. You do something good, then someone else will pass it on! People in the Western World have very little self control!!! I myself have no desire for getting all the latest and greatest (now there are something I have for good reason, but not just for the sake of having it). Now, on the comment about music, I do sound engineering, but it doesn't compare the natural sounds, straight from the source.

"doing what is expected of us, living by the rules, afraid to speak out of turn, of being politically incorrect, of what other people might think."
I hate to say it, but that's the way people are "brainwashed" in todays society! As for me on the other hand, I have my morales, but I won't fit the mold because I'm told to! I will also tell it as it is, straight up, doesn't matter who likes it or not! If I disagree...the whole world knows, If I have an opinion...the whole world knows!!! I have an opinion on everything, and I have yet to have someone tell me something that would change my opinion because I do my homework before I comment! (They don't call me Mr. Research for nothing) So if y'ever need an opinion, straight up, I'm the one to ask!

Tell me if you find any passion in the world...or if u need some more help, just ask!

I think you need to stop looking in malls and grocery stores for passion.

Maybe get out, got to fairs, go downtown to the arts district, go to schools, religious meetings, etc - get out of the everyday bull and actually look where it will be found.

Sorry, I just don't get pasionate about buying toilet paper. There are plenty other things in my life to be passionate about. That is not even on the list. Nor is violence.
