Why of course. My first wife(God rest her soul) was Democrat &
me 100% republican. Now my second wife is Democrat and I'm still republican. Political veiws shouldn't dictate a marriage.

It will only fail if you're a bunch of retards. People let politics affect them too much. Get over it. They both suck, and neither can do any good. If you let something like politics affect your marriage, it is doomed from the start.
