Country bumpkin,,I grew up in the city and hated it, when our family finally moved out of there I felt free. Now as a grown adult I live in the country and love it!!! Not having to worry what the Jone's think is sooo nice.

Beach bum. It's like a country bumpkin, except by the ocean instead of in the woods.

gawd i believe the term for me is socially castrated hermit.
kidding, but raising kids and living in a rural area and outside of town is not the proverbial scene.
im pretty quick minded but to hear me or talk with me, i probably come across as an over hyped smoked way to much maryj as a teen hippie bonafided bumpkin.
i just enjoy my time slow when im on my pace, wich is way to fast as well, but i can make laundry take all day.
these days im just thankful to be alive and smiling, and ocassionally will chew bermuda grass stems and watch the sky.
done the city fast pace. just dont because of circumstance.

I have lived in the country, in the county and in the city. Right now I am in a city but it still has a rural flavor. I have worked with cattle, chickens, gardening, all of that good country stuff. I live close to the old downtown area which is having a comeback.

I am was born and raised in South Mississippi, so needless to say I am country through and through. I live right between some cow pasters and even a few chicken houses. My children can go just beyond the back yard to go hunting. We can still leave our doors unlocked at night and our windows open. Its quite and comfortable here. And guess what, Most of the people I know, Still have their own teeth and are NOT inbred.
