Whenever she saw me, she said I looked fatter. :(
I'm 5'6 and about 130 pounds. Measurements are 37/26/37. I want to lose 10 pounds by exercising, but I have no way to be as slim as my friend. She is 5'2" and only 100 pounds. I don't t want to be on a diet.

She's jealous, because according to your height, weight and measurements, you are perfect. A person your height is supposed to be between 125 and 135 lbs. I believe, and they used to say that a perfect shape was if your waist was 10" smaller than your bust and hips. such as : 36/26/36 where yours is 37/26/37 you are an inch too small in the waist or 1" too big in the bust and hips. Honey, get a new friend, this gal sounds like she may be anorexic and trying to make you that way, too.

Are you kidding me? You're not fat at all. Sorry to say it, but it doesn't sound like your friend is much of a friend at all. I remember similar comments made to me, when I was in high school and college I was 5'5'' and hovered around 125-135, and I didn't start feeling better about myself until I got way too skinny and felt shaky and lightheaded all the time, and I actually had to force myself to gain back some weight, though not all of it. I actually still battle that. Be careful--I was almost anorexic, it's an easy path to head down, and you need friends who are supportive of you no matter what size you are. The truest friends will always make you feel good about yourself.

Don't compare yourself to your friend. Everyone is differently shaped. Other factors, besides fat, also need to be considered for a person's weight, like muscle. If you want to lose 10 pounds, try exercising and not eating much junk food or foods with high calorie content.

to be 5'6 and 130 pounds is pretty damned good, actually. Thats a healthy weight. You're where you're supposed to be for someone your height. So tell your friend she can screw herself sideways! Perhaps she's jealous because her little a ss is only 5 effin 2 and 100 pounds. skinny broad....shes not a good friend.

Being 5'6 and weighing 130 pounds isn't fat to me. What kind of best friend do you have?! Hang out with your other ones. Your current "best friend" looks like she has self-esteem issues, so she has to bring people down to make herself look good.

Get a new friend. You sound like your weight is just fine. I true friend would love you just the way you are. If you felt you were to fat a true friend would come along side and help anyway possible.

dont pay attention to what others think of you.. if you want to lose weight that is one thing but for someone to put you down isnt your friend in the first place.. Just eat smaller portions of food and cut out the soda intake you will be fine
