How important is cache size in laptops?

Cache size only has to do with quickly retrieving sites that you have already visited, but I would set it to about 10% of your total hard drive space. It does not matter if the computer is a laptop or desktop.

Err, size doesn't matter! LOL...

hehe, that's the last spec (no pun intended) that you should be looking at. 512KB or 1MB is pretty much the standard today. But instead of worrying about cache, worry about the model CPU you're talking about. The Core 2 Duo, for example, will smoke just about any other CPU out there cache size aside!!
