I was looking into making an account in vanguard. They have minimums of $1000, $2000, etc. But I keep seeing additional investments $100. What does that additional investments mean? Do I have to invest $100 after a certain amount of time or something like that?

No, you don't HAVE to invest any more...but if you do, it has to be at least $100.
It doesn't sound like much...but if you want to see what it can add up to...go to:http://www.finishrich.com
Then go the the "latte" link.....see what $100. a month will do for your nestegg...( even $50, or $25. ....you know $100. every couple of months)

It means that when and if you want to add to your account, it has to be at least $100. Either occasinally or some lpeople have it taken out of their bank account every month or so.
