When i found out they were going to start showing "The Wire" and this new series they have showing the lives of black drug dealers, killers, gang bangers etc called "American Gangster"...i refuse to watch that channel...Question is, what the hek are they trying to do? Whats the purpose of putting these shows on glorifying the crime and violence that plague the black community? Hold on BET is owned by Viacom..a company ran by a white guy named Phillip P. Dauman. What are they trying to do? They have a demographic in mind, they know who their audience is...wtf?
