is my computer game working right?

Question

the game is bran new it installs but when is start it just has a black screen with 4 cloured flames. the game is ghost recon advanced warfighter can anybody help and the graphics card is compaterable and so is the memory and the processor i just cant under stand why i cant see any imagers

Try updating your graphics drivers. The most common graphics cards are either nvidia www.nvidia.com or ATI ati.de/support/driver.html

the easiest way to find out if the game cd/dvd is fine is to install it on other pc, you can ask your friend to install it on their pc and see if it work.
if it not run on theirs then you can make sure that there is something wrong with the cd/dvd itself but what if it run then there could be many reason for this try the following:

1. if you previously installed a driver for graphic card then goto "control panel > add remove program" and remove the driver and restart, then install the latest driver from nvidia.com or ATI.com (very important step)
2. make sure that all your hard disk drives have some free space, especially windows drive and the drive you installed the game in.
3. try to repair the game installation, put the cd/dvd in and click on install then choose "repair" when wizard ask you.
4. try to start the game in safe mode if it has this option in start menu > all program > "thegamename", and if not see if you find a "game config" there and then set the video option as lower as possible and run the game see if it work or not.
5. goto www.gamespot.com and get the latest patch for the game and install it.

You'll need your computer to have all the systems stated on the hardcover, even 1 missing programme can cause the running of the game to fail.

sounds like your game crad isnt enough or game is broke get another if that still domt work buy a new card
