I am looking for a fairly recent list that includes colleges that graduates of Lowell High School and University High School (both located in SF, CA) were accepted to, and also the number of students that went to each college. Is there any place, other than the school's website, where I can find such information? If I called the main offices of each school, could they provide it? I am entering highschool next year, and would like to have the information at hand should I be accepted to both schools. Any suggestions much appreciated! :)

Uni High has it on their website.

If you call and ask to speak to the counseling office, I'm sure they have an updated list. I'd probably wait until February to call though. Just to make sure the staff is hitting the "down" time of the college application season.

I'm not too sure how useful the info will be to you. It's up to the individual student to get into the college. Lowell is known throughout the state, if not nationally. Going there isn't going to hurt you (unless you can't hack it academically). Uni High sounds like a newer, smaller version of Lowell, but it too doesn't sound like it's going to hurt your chances to go there. Due to the difference in sizes, Lowell's going to have a much larger student body. This means more students to get into those prestigious schools.

My school uses a service called TCCI. It is run by Naviance. A lot of other schools use this service as well. It provides information about the number of people who applied to each college and how many got accepted or rejected and what their SAT scores/ ACT scores were. If you call up the office of the schools, you should be able to get this information. If not the office will probably have a list of places where their students went to college. Good luck.

Most high school guidance/college placement departments keep a record of the places of higher education to which their graduates attend. Depending on the school, it may or may not be public information.

Often, this information is also published in school newspapers at the end of the school year, congratulating the students and letting each other know where their classmates will be attending. School newspapers are sometimes available on the school webpages.

Good luck!

At my college an honors direction will become an AP direction. so as a sophomore i'm in Honors US historic previous a million and next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days i will circulate into AP US historic previous 2. So in the experience that your instructors think of you will do good in an honors direction (usually wanting regularly A's) then it is going to bypass an AP. AP definitly seems good for college, yet you basically get the credit in the direction of college when you're taking the AP try. Its on a rack of a million-5, and getting a 4 or 5 grants college credit, in case you score under that, you nevertheless can say you took the AP type, yet you are not getting any credit for it. the two way, displaying the college which you will handle the artwork load is greater then not something. And for making waiting you for SAT or ACT artwork, you will possibly only have greater understanding interior the classification/instructions which you're taking, for the reason that they circulate into greater depths. And a minimum of at my college, you may ask to circulate into honors/AP in case you have chose to, they permit you circulate in, yet its greater beneficial in case you have been stated with the aid of a instructor to take action, for the reason that they comprehend the artwork load and that they comprehend the style you're doing. good success Ryan!!

The high school should provide it. Call the Guidance Office or some such.
