Its hard to deal with the fact that he was going to marry me. He told me he was on the verge of doing so and then we starting fighting because I was supposively "immature" and he just got sick of it. So now I think now that the relationship is over how unhappy I am and how I lost the chance to be married to the guy I love. And Im in so much pain

i think things happen for a reason sometimes. its a wake up call for u to change ur attitude bec if u ever met someone whom u love much more dearly than this first one, and havent learned the lesson this time, then same fate will fall in ur lap. u have to admit ur mistake, move on and let time heal the hurt. good luck.

He was never going to marry you, he said that because he knew that's what you wanted to hear and now he's using that as a power trip. That is a hurtful thing , get over it in time and move on. The only one who sounds immature is him. Do you really want to marry this guy and have a marriage full of power trips ? First its this, then if you actually get married, then it will probably be sex, money and the list goes on and on. Bottom line, he's playing you for a fool. Keep your distance from this fool.

Get over it. After some time when you are happily married and look back you will not find it painful at all. It will just be a memory.

he probably never took the relationship seriously until the topic of marriage came up. so when he started thinking of commitment for life he started finding everything thats wrong in the relationship. its his problem not yours. obviously your not meant for each other and if it took the idea of marriage to find out. i suppose its better to find out this way then after your married through a nasty divorce.

Honey, please see that he was screwing with your head. He used the fight and the insult as a way out. Don't let this get you down, he is the loser in this situation, not you.
