All the time! Especially when it's a song that I can relate to the situation being told about, then I start to think about everything going on...and other times I just get completely lost and don't think about anything at all, and then when I realize what I was doing it's really weird!

Totally... One time I closed my eyes while listening to this song called "Falling Snow." I felt like I could really see the snow falling and smell the fresh air of the snow-capped mountains, and it was all very dramatic. I suddenly came back to reality when the song ended slowly, and I felt a bit of mental awkwardness for having slipped into that imaginative reverie.

That happens to me all the time; the song sort of envelops you into its own little world and the real world goes on without you for a few moments. Moments of transcendence like that are the reasons that good music is worth listening to.
