By default, memory is usually set to the max when it's integrated on the motherboard.

To check though, go into the BIOS (setup when you first turn on the PC) and look for the video settings. Usually you can decrease it, but not increase it higher than the default.

You have to buy a new video card. Since you have onboard video, first check to see if you have an AGP slot. If not then you will need to buy a PCI video card. Make sure it's not a PCI express since I can tell from your chipset that your computer is to old to have this type.

you may not strengthen your video memory without bodily changing your video card. it is like asserting "the place is the button to strengthen my automobile's horsepower with the aid of a hundred?" including a video card on a Vostro 1510 (I even have the Vostro 1500) isn't affordable neither is it trouble-free. you will possibly be able to desire to take the completed element aside (computer screen, keyboard, CPU, and so on.) It wasn't incredibly meant to be a gaming computer.

You can configure the setting from the BIOS. You need to press the Del Key or the F2 key when ur system is powering up to go to BIOS.

Then go to Advanced options and you will find a field for VGA Memory Allocation.

If you can give me your Desktop and/or mother board details i can tell you where exactly you can find that option.

If you need anyfurther clarification please get back to me.

Change the video card, or increase your ram to 1.2 Gig's if you can find it still.
