I say it depends on what you're looking for. If you go to a bar, you'll find bar people. If you like going to the cafe, a peotry club, or a baseball game, you'll find different people. It all depends on what kind of person you're looking for and what kind of person you are. I would just go out to places I enjoy, and meet people who share the same interests as me. Go swimming, play pool. bowling, the theater...people are every where.

I've met some nice friends at church and while doing volunteer work at a community theatre and volunteer work at a thrift shop.
