Maybe they approached some heroines of the Bollywood but they did not have the bulk dates to spare &so s/one recommended her ???
Or cd be that her PR guy worked overtime to get/catch this assignment ? For the moolah involved is quite good & he too cd make a fast buck.

Its always a good break for a struggling actress to get publicity in this part of the world. Big Brother is much watched show in UK as far as a place like Leicester is concerned with more than half the population gujaratis the show would certainly rake in higher TRP ratings in getting more viewers. The logic behind shilpa shetty is simple no brainer. She has looks and bare all attitude with simpleton outlook which makes her a good time pass on telly.

They wanted someone Dark who could pass off as an Indian .They were looking for unemployed indian actress and Shilpa fitted the requirement.They wanted all brits to have a bad view on Indians and this has also been acheived.

Oops I just read that question and I am surprised that every1 looks so negative about shilpa. ofcourse she is not very busy these days still I think she is quite a gorgeos bollywood actress. I like her and I think though she does not sound very intelligent still she is quite bubbly and sweet and ofcourse has great figure. Seems to be a good human being. I think its time she find the right guy for her. Shes quite a right choice for Big Brother.
