I've babysat my 2 cousions for 2 years, worked a part time job at Bob Evans Resturant and babysat my two little siblings. I'm Muslim so I can't leave the house without my husband's permission but I'd feel better babysitting in my apartment anyway. Can anyone help me out?

Check out your local community center and see if they have classes in helpful areas like child development, red cross training, emergency first aid, etc. The more training that you have, the more jobs you will receive.

I guess you can go to www.google.com on the net and type the word baby sitting in it and it will pull out all the sites for you.
I know that in TX, there is a one day orientation session that is very informative and then in the end there is a test of some kind that you have to pass. then you have to do your first aid and such. Then they come over to your house to inspect it for safety guidelines. After you have met all the criteria that they specify, you will be certified. Good luck

The red cross has a program with a certificate , Very informative plus the certificate is a step ahead of the non-certificated.

get first aid certification and get it started with word of mouth
or if you want, promote around your neighbourhood
i wouldn't recommend putting it up online
you can also try promoting in the classifieds in the newspaper
