Sometimes late at night when you can't go out and be with others, you might start to feel "alone" ... But there are benefits to being alone. There are so many things you can do when you are alone that you cannot do with people around. Frankly, I like being alone, but probably because I have so very little "alone time" in my life. Find things to do, and change your idea of what being alone is really all about.
Peace be with you, my friend!

Yes, everybody must have that experience too.
Even He who owns the whole universe once exclaimed:
Father, Father , why have you forsaken Me?
I felt so alone one time when I lived by myself on Bribie Island in Queensland, and just had an operation on my hernia. Nobody helped me, and I had to do everything by myself. If I had not friend like Bill Nabbs, a very fine ex Australian Navy and his wonderful wife Augie, who looked after me like their own blood brother, I would have been back to my origin: terra!

I've only felt that way twice before - but once was last week. each time surrounded the death of a beloved family member, and I was far from my sources of emotional support.
But I understand what you are saying.
I don't think its a dumb question.

We all have that kind of experience if we are thinking persons. Sometimes lonliness can be experienced as very very painful. Remember, always, that this too shall pass.

Sometimes yes. Sometimes it happens even when I have company! Even when there are crowds around me.
