Actually I am after the lyrics to the origin of love. I don't know who like originally wrote it. Any info appreciated thanks.

Your probably referring to "Angry Inch" since it was the highlighted song in the movie. If it's not the song you want you will find it on the website through the link I attached. The website includes the lyrics to all the songs in the movie.

Which one? There are tons of songs! All of them fanastic, and brilliant movie, but you're going to have to give me a little more help here.
You might be thinking of the 'main song'- "Angry Inch", which is about Hedwig's botched sex change.

Why is it that most gay men take an interest in 'gay' films just because they have a 'gay' theme?
For me to see ANY film, it has to be scripted well, with a great ensemble cast and good cinematography.
I'm not going to see a film purely because its' marketed to me as a gay man. I am more than just a gay man. And I go see high quality films, not gay-themed crap masquerading as an 'arty' caricature of what gay men think they should be in order to get a 'straight' audience to take notice of them..
