At first I like Woody then got bored with, Now I'm digging this guy again the movie that did it for me was "Small time crooks", this film is a riot, "what is u?,some sort of a jerk". Then I JUST WATCHED "MATCHPOINT", WOW, U REALLY FORGET UR WATCHING A MOVIE. DONT GET ME WRONG I LIKE COMEDY, ACTION AND THRILLERS WITH THE BEST OF EM BUT WHEN IT COMES TO DRAMA, THIS MOVIE GOT IT RITE ON...TALK ABOUT TWISTED...WHAT DO U THINK?

I used to like Woody Allen movies then they got stale. I got tired of the same characters, of New York, of the neurotic Jewish thing, the psychotherapy, the dry sarcasm, even hearing his voice in the animated film "Ants" got annoying - so I quit watching.
But Match Point was really a departure for him, he didn't act in his own movie, always a plus, set in England and kind of a dark drama, totally different for him. I really, really liked that movie. I heard his follow up movie, Scoop, wasn't so great and I haven't seen it so I can't comment on that.
On a personal level I don't think much of Woody Allen and the way he handles his romantic relationships but that is irrelevant to my enjoyment (or dislike) of his movies

Loved the early comedies and some but not all of the dramas . "Matchpoint" was great.

I've always been a great fan of his movies.
But, the guy has made some bad personal decisions about his life.

i like him a lot cause he reminds me of Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. I haven't really seen much of his work except Melinda and Melinda and Annie Hall. He rocks!

I like him very much! I have also seen Match Point, but if you liked it don`t miss Scoop, I think it`s even better ! Much more funny, check it out !

The guy creeps me out and he's just totally amoral; sorry but he doesn't appeal to me at all. "Crimes and Misdemeanors" was good but just weird.
