Calvin~ The secret is blending- start with a neutral shade all over up to the brow- setting the canvas for even coloring... I go with a darker shades on the outside corner in & up slightly, then a warmer -sunset-ish like shade leaving room at the top for a light- pink tone -blending & feathering as you go offers an intriguing & unique style- I apply with sponge applicators & blend with small, soft brushes. Oh, I use to be a model if that helps. Good luck. Love you!

Maybelline's site has a video that shows you how to apply eyeshadow, as well as other things. Go to their how-to videos under makeup studio.

try covergirl.com I know that they show how to apply mascara step by step. First go to covergirl.com then (after you put in your info) select Tips & Tricks, then choose either Eyes or Shadow Salon. Hope this helps!

Go to joeblasco.com, go to joe blasco websites, and then click the cosmetic website, then click the cosmetic techniques. There should be some tips there. Anyhow, that is a wonderful school. I went there. It was fun!

i always use 3 colors...your darkest not going very much if at all above your crease. i use lighter colors to highlight under my brow. if you ever watch TLC's what not to wear...carmondy does make up tips towards the end... i get some tips from her occasionally.
