Technically the Queen can recognize anyone by Knighting them.

You may be right. But England is the only country left that can knight people. It would be awesome to be a knight. I have Irish and English in me. But I am an American and I will never understand the tension between the English and The Irish. By the way, St. Patty's Day makes me wish that I were more Irish.

If it helps him get attention from world leaders on the debt relief issue etc. then it's a good thing.
