Partial Custody is where you and your spouse share custody of the child. Your best bet is to ask for some free legal advice:

It is going to be hard to make decisions for the children since both parents will have a say in any decision (or both parties, if it is a more complex case). If the two of you can't stay together then you have proved that you can't share your lives, so I don't think sharing custody would be any easier.

Partial custody is a step up from visitation. Visitation only provides someone with the right to visit the child, but they aren't allowed to remove the child from the control of the person who has primary custody. Otherwise, the parent allowed visitation cannot remove the child from the designated place of visitation. Partial custody allows someone to take control of the child for a specified amount of time. Otherwise, parents who have their children every other weekend have partial custody.

I've never heard of Partial custody. It is usually Joint (meaning each parent has equal rights as far as the kids go)- with one being named the custodial parent so that they provide the primary care.
Sole custody means only one parent has the rights of the children.
This doesn't mean that the other parent won't have visitation, but they cannot make the decisions for the kids.
If you have questions, I would definitely ask your attorney before signing ANYTHING!!!

Partial custody means that you are sharing your child with your childs other parent because the courts decided it would wrong to seperate tou from your child and that it would also be wrong for the other parent to be seperated from the child it's an adjustment but something that should be understood it doesn't mean you can't speak to your child while away, and you shpuldn't keep the child from speaking to the other parent while with you! If you are reasonable with the situation you will see how the other person will learn to be as understanding as you! Good luck 'cuz it's hard on you as a parent as well!

Means you share Custody of the kid...there are many forms or terms used for this...your ex partner i assume...has a say in the childs life. Mean you have to discuss matters with them before you make a decision...You don't have free Rain over your childs life...

hope that helps...

Best of Luck
