I have known some cold hearted women in my time as well as power hungry women.
Gender does not make the person good or bad. Yes war would exist because power corupts people. I have worked for some mean women at Microsoft (and men). Also lets say a woman who hated men were to get into power, or a racist woman? Yes women can be just as evil as men can maybe worse.
How many girls, ladies know about other women who will steal their best friends man or something simular? Or just a Catty woman?
What lurks in the hearts of men (or women)?
You my friend are stereo-typing women, that is all.

There would be far more wars then anyone can imagine, I have been among other women in the workplace and it was a daily struggle for not hearing and seeing arguments stemming from petty issues. Women can be a little to emotional, therefore, distracting their sense of reasoning, and start and all war of words in front of anyone. they don't care for the most part to what I have witnessed. But, I am not saying that they are all that way, but, do speak he truth to what I witnessed.

Sad to say war will continue no matter which sex is in power. Thats just the way of the world. Maybe war wouldn't last as long as it does now if women were in power but we don't know that for sure. Its all relative I guess.

Yes. Think about the Celtic women queens, think about Catherine the Great of Russia, Queen Elizabeth of England, Margaret Thacher,. No just because of gender does not mean peace will reign in this world.

I doubt it. Unfortunately most humans alive today still believe that violence is a way to solve problems, regardless of their gender. Also one has to remember that there are more differences amongst women and men as groups than between women and men. To suggest that suddenly giving the world over to women by endowing them with global political power fails to consider this point. Until we as humans, male and female, evolve beyond the idea of violence as a solution, changing the gender of our leadership will do nothing to solve the problem of war.

In my opinion,if all women rule every Nation I am sure the war will exit and that is the way our human being suppose to be. Unfortunately, we can not communicate well with each other and we choose war to resolve our conflict. Meanwhile, we accustom to weapon, money and power then we always ended up with War. History always repeats itself. I hate to be negative but in a positive Note why not choose a woman to be our President in 2008?

In order to become a "ruler" a woman would have to be very aggressive and ruthless. Therefore, I think war would continue to exist.
If simple, loving mothers and wives could somehow be put in charge, I'm sure we'd all be living in peace and prosperity.

war has nothing to do with sex of the ruler.sometimes it is not the ruler who desides to go to war.it largely depends on the nature and desire of the majority(e live in a democratic world-its no longer right or wrong-its majority or minority).i belive war is caused by people who dont see far enough

If every country had a Maragret Thatcher you might be right. Short of that you would have world economy collapse, and more wars than now.

I think it still would, because it doesn't matter if your female or male, because you could still express your opinion, so a male could tell a female to consider war
