If you plan your week well, there is no reason why you can't take one night off for fun.

My advice is to play hockey on Thursday -- but keep up with your work the other times.

As long as you can manage your class and study time on the other days, being in the hockey league can't hurt.

Just maintain the discipline of studying and not cramming for exams, and you will do fine.

A side benefit, when you apply for jobs and awards, saying you got good grades and participated in the hockey league will be a plus for you.

If you can get your work done on the weekend then take Thurs off. It's hard to get ice time and hockey is a sport that you need to play continuously to stay good at.

I say study. play can wait. Will ten years down the road make you feel better if you played hockey or passed a class?

Sounds like a plan to me. You need to have some recreational time. As long as you get your work done and keep your grades up, this is the way to go.

No, it's okay to take some time for yourself. One night a week doesn't sound like too much. As long as your grades don't suffer, I'd say it's fine. Enjoy.

Take the time for yourself. Its not healthy to study all the time. People need breaks to get their stress level down.
