Jesus.

I know, I know I am one of those religious nut jobs. But it is true.

I mean, you can believe him as the savior and son of God. Or you can at least give him credit. The dude had some pretty damu good points on how to live a 'good' life.

What a great question!

I don't think I had any real powerful role models except for maybe my Grade 12 teacher who had come with her son to our little prairie town from London, England. She was an artist and a writer, and kind of singled me out for some mentoring. I liked writing but had no confidence, even when she sent my work to friends of hers. I'm just now beginning to realize what an inspiration she was!

Members of the Royal Shakespeare Company came to our little high school when I was in Grade 7 and I was pretty impressed and inspired by their talents and generosity, as I was with the actors I saw in my first stage musical ("Oliver!") a little later. Inspired me to tred the boards a little in College.

Both of my grandmothers were steadfastly loving and stable and encouraging to the end and that is very inspiring from my vantage-point as a granny myself.

God bless!

My parents were never inspirational, but some of my school teachers were OK. Some cartoons were inspiring too, and some friends.
