In various ways.
You might be in a supermarket trying to figure out if it is cheaper to buy the two for one special or the larger pack.
You might be purchasing a home or a car and need to figure out if you are being ripped off or not.
You might be considering investing your savings and need to know if the advertised return is reasonable.
You might be planning for your retirement fund and considering the proper return.
You could be playing a poker game and trying to decide if you have the proper pot odds to call the all in bet that just took place. Math will determine the exact odds of hitting your hand versus the price the pot is offering you.
Math is in so many things we do. Without math we are in some serious trouble. Those who fail to learn the basics of math are at a huge disadvantage in life.
Last year my boss asked me to compile a report on the business I run for him. He then asked me to figure out what he was paying me as a percentage of business revenue. He then asked me if I would like a flat rate pay structure as opposed to the tiered structure I was being paid on. I chose the flat structure, which made me an extra $3,500 in 2006. Giving him the wrong answer would mean I would be $3,500 poorer right now.
Every day we use math to improve our lives. I am not talking about obscure stuff like calculus and advanced trigonometry, but things like percentages, fractions, ratios, along with basic math functions can have a big impact on out lives.

MATHEMATICS IS HIGHLY USEFUL IN DAILY LIFE. NO ONE CAN DENY ITS USES. MATHEMATICAL TOOLS LIKE AREAS OF FIGURES, VOLUMES, INTEGRATION, DIFFERENTIATION, LIMITS, CONTINUITY ETC ARE USED IN PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY i.e., SCIENCE ITSELF. WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE OF MATHEMATICS YOU CANNOT PERFORM EVEN A SINGLE CALCULATION.

Math is useful cause one cannot function if they do not know how to count add and substract. One will not know how to pay bills or spend money in areas needed, cause then how would they know what they are getting back in return. Others could esily get over on a person who knows no math.

its not, in "daily life"!
however, if you become a professional, there is a good possibility, that you will require maths to get at least some part of your work done!

Is the roof that keeps the rain off made of animal skins? Do you carry your water up from the creek in a goat bladder? If not, every civilized thing that stands between your life and one that primitive is based on mathematics. Do you use money, or do you swap chickens for milk? The world of commerce and finance is all math. Open your eyes.

It can be very useful in trades such as construction. Knowing how much of a given material you need by calculating all the area you need to use that material will enable you to buy the right amount without buying too much, which is a waste of money, or not buying enough, which will leave you needing another trip, which is also a waste of money.

Oh it comes in handy when you need to figure out how much change you need at a store or if some one is trying to scam you. Calenders and clocks require counting. I don't find it that useful, but that's because I am not very good at it. I am smart enough to see that it has value and should not be disregarded.

It IS in "daily life"!! You do it multiple times a day without realizing it.
Do you look at the clock and consider how much longer you have to be in school or at work? (Arithmetic!!)
Do you count the money in your pocket to determine if you can buy that can of soda at the store?
